In
February, the Service Squad took on the little
guys two times in the community.
First, on Saturday, February
18, nine Service Squad volunteers washed wheelcharis
for kids living at the Hacienda Intermediate Care
Facility. After making sure the chairs were detailed
to perfection, the squad was invited inside to
read stories to the kids.

Then on Saturday, February
25, the Service Squad spent the afternoon at the
Phoenix Central Library reading with kids from
the Andre House. Some of the kids were old enough
to read to the volunteers, while others were content
listening to the books they chose to be read aloud.
At the end, all of the
children got in a circle and presented his or
her favorite book from that day.
