Frequently Asked Questions (existing accounts)

Why are the names on my statements and other documents listed differently than they used to be?

We streamlined our records to meet tax-reporting standards. None of your information has changed other than the order that your name and business appear on your account.

Can I keep my Money Market account and other savings accounts?

Yes! You’ll have all of the same great savings options with your new Member Business Account as you previously enjoyed plus the premium tiered dividends on our Member Business checking account.

What if I have a loan with you?

If you currently have a loan with us, the terms and conditions will remain the same for the life of the loan. Additional company/organizational documentation may need to be provided when opening a new loan. A guaranty agreement will be required for each new business loan.

Can I use Shared Branching?

Shared Branching is not a feature that is available to Member Business accounts.

Will I still be able to transfer to and from my other accounts?

If you have the cross-account transfer feature set up, you will be able to transfer to and from your accounts as long as they have the same tax identification number. For example, if your business account is under a Social Security Number, then you can transfer to your other accounts with the same Social Security Number. The same applies to accounts with an EIN.

What if I have a Visa Platinum or Check Card with you?

Your current cards will still be active. In the near future, you’ll be issued a new Member Business Platinum or Check Card with an exciting new rewards point structure!

What if I have a discount or fee waiver on my account such as Prime Investors?

Because of our convenient “pay for what you use” fee structure, all business accounts will now be subject to potential fees based on volume usage. Please refer to our enclosed Fees and Rates sheet.

Have account ownership transfer rights changed?

Yes, member business and/or member organization accounts are not subject to right of survivorship, as it relates to account ownership.

Who can I contact with questions about my business account?

You may contact us at (602) 683-1000 (1-800-523-4603 outside Maricopa County) or visit your nearby branch to speak with a service representative regarding your business account.

Frequently Asked Questions (new accounts)

Why is there a one-day hold on my checks?

Our next business day availability policy gives you peace of mind knowing deposits have a lower likelihood of being returned and drawing your account negative. Arizona Federal offers a Business Visa if you’re interested in adding overdraft protection to meet your needs.

Can I transfer to and from my other Arizona Federal accounts?

If you have the cross-account transfer feature set up, you will be able to transfer to and from your accounts as long as they have the same tax identification number. For example, if your business account is under a Social Security Number, then you can transfer to your other accounts with the same Social Security Number. The same applies to accounts with an EIN.

How many people can be on my business account?

Our account structure accommodates two signors.
