Squad is a "credit to the community."
|
On
Saturday, April 2, the Arizona Federal
Service Squad proved once again that
they are truly are "a credit
to the community".
Arizona Federal
was the title sponsor of the Make
A Difference Serve-A-Thon with included
over 70 projects happening all over
the valley.
The Service
Squad's project took place at the
Pappas School for homeless children.
Fifty great Arizona Federal volunteers
and their families spread 100 tons
of gravel, leveled the baseball field
and moved an inordinate amount of
dirt in the process. They also painted
a couple hundred feet of fence, and
sorted thousands of cans of food!
And they did it all in four hours.
It was quite a day.
Arizona
Federal is a locally-owned, locally-controlled,
and locally-operated federally-chartered
credit union managing $1 billion in
member assets and serving over 165,000
member accounts.
