Phoenix, Ariz. (August 10, 2005, 2005) – Busy Arizonians are striving to find new ways to save time, money and the environment. One popular way to accomplish this, discovered by Arizona Federal, the State's 2nd largest credit union, is through online statements. This service was just added to the online banking option recently and just three hours after offering their new online statement , 1,500 members were signed up for the service, in 24 hours 5,000 signed up and within 72 hours 10,000 people enjoying the benefits of online statements. Since kicking off the program July 25, 2005, more than 15,000 members are getting their statements online. More than 70,000 members already use their online banking service.

“There is something to benefit everyone with the new services we are providing,” said Jason D. Paprocki, Assistant Vice President/eServices at Arizona Federal. “Professionals and busy parents appreciate paying their bills with a touch of button, this saves both time and money. Our environmentally conscious members appreciate receiving their statements online, therefore eliminating unnecessary paper waste.”

Receiving statements online also allows customers to receive their statements quickly, while reducing mail security risks according to Paprocki.

“Our goal is to define services the way our members choose,” said Paprocki. “We see online banking as another way to make life easier for them so they can focus on what’s most important in their life. According to the number of our customers that signed up, I think we are on the right track.”
