Phoenix,
Ariz. – In response to the Asian
disaster, Arizona Federal will partner
with Save the Children to raise much
needed funds to meet the needs of
children in the hardest hit areas.
All of Arizona Federal’s 20
branches in Maricopa County and Tucson
will accept donations. Arizona Federal
members will be able to directly transfer
funds to a Save the Children donation
account, but all are welcome to visit
their branches and make a donation.

before the press began to report on
the plight of children in the wake
of this disaster, we knew there was
going to be a strong need to come
to the aid of the youngest victims
- that is why we elected to partner
with Save The Children ,” said
Laura Lowe Edgar, director of community
services for Arizona Federal.
Save the
Children is the largest independent
humanitarian organization creating
lasting change for children in need
in the United States and around the
world. Save the Children is urgently
seeking support for its Asia Earthquake/Tsunami
Relief Fund, which will allow the
organization to quickly implement
relief, protection and reconstruction
efforts for children in affected areas.
