Arizona FederalArizona Federal was established on October 23, 1936 when a small group of City of Phoenix employees pooled their resources to form Phoenix City Employees Federal Credit Union. They started with fewer than 50 members and an average account balance of $5.

The credit union has since expanded to manage over $1.6 billion in assets from 200,000 member accounts in 15 branch locations. It is among the leading credit unions in the nation.

Arizona Federal is dedicated to effectively serve its members’ financial needs through a professional staff, sound economic principles and a full range of financial services. We follow the philosophy of people helping people. Arizona Federal is also dedicated to providing financial education and playing a positive role in the communities we serve.

Because of the cooperative structure of credit unions, all earnings are passed back to members in the form of no fee or low fee services, high yields on savings products and low interest lending products. In addition, funds are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S. Government agency.

As we continue to expand our position as a leader in the financial services industry, our Arizona Federal name and logo will continue to represent our continued commitment to delivering unparalleled service to our members-owners.

Here's what some of our members have to say:

"I have been with AZFCU since I was a teenager (very long time ago). My husband and I have had multiple car loans, home loans, and HELOCs and the credit union has always been the best financial institution for us. We've lost wallets, had our identity stolen, paid bills to wrong utility accounts, etc. and the credit union has always gone above and beyond what other banks would do to help us get things taken care of. And they're always friendly, polite and professional. We will forever be AZFCU members."
- R. Alexander from Mesa, AZ

"I've been with the credit union for more than ten years and have never had any problems. Anytime there were any problems, there were always customer service reps on the phone who always were and are helpful. And the new location that has opened up on 16th & Southern is even more helpful and convenient. No complaints here. Good job! "
- A. & E. Ybarra from Phoenix, AZ
