What you'll get to do:
Provides a one-step High Touch Mortgage Loan experience to
members coming into our branch (walk in channel). Acts as liaison between
mortgage loan partnerships. Interviews and counsels members applying directly on the best member
program to fit their needs. Cross-sells other credit union products and services for a complete full
service relationship.
Experience, knowledge and skills you'll need:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years experience in the mortgage loan industry
as a Loan Officer in counseling and originating standard and alternative documentation mortgage loans or
in real estate sales. Origination of mortgage loans preferred. Must have knowledge of FNMA, .Freddie Mac,
and FHLMC underwriting requirements. Four years customer service experience in the financial services industry.
Knowledge of computers required. Ability to type 25 words per minute. Ability to read, write, speak and use
proper grammar in English. Ability to read, interpret and analyze written instructions, correspondence and
procedure manuals. Ability to write simple business correspondence. Ability to communicate verbally both in
person and on the telephone. Ability to speak effectively to members regarding common inquiries or complaints.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding when dealing with problems involving variables in standardized
situations. Ability to calculate rates, ratios and percentages.
