Loan Consultant, Member Services—Full Time

What you'll get to do:
- You'll answer and process all loan applications and provide members with consistent, accurate and courteous service.
- You'll effectively interviews members to meet their lending needs.
- You'll utilize automated underwriting processes.
- You'll recommend the approval or decline of a loan request.
- You'll deliver loan decisions to members and schedules loan closing appointments.
- You'll cross sell other credit union products and services.
- You'll effectively identifies credit trends that show members are improving from credit challenges to support middle-credit underwriting.
- You'll provide immediate decisions.
- You'll provide department coverage to support flex schedules and vacations.
- You'll promote an environment of teamwork within the department and organization as a whole.
Experience, knowledge and skills you'll need:
- You'll need a High School diploma or a GED and one year of experience in customer service, consumer lending or a call center environment.
- You need to be familiar with Windows and able to use PC applications such as Word and Excel.
- You need to be able to type
25 words per minute.
